Job summary

Culina Group Limited is recruiting a Stock Controller for our Chilled & Fresh division in Crick. The role is full time permanent with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (6am-6pm) and a salary of £13.96 per hour.

You will liaise with management to ensure accuracy of loads and maintain stock integrity across the despatch process. We are seeking candidates with previous stock control experience, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

• Previous stock controller experience is essential.
• Flexibility to cover all areas of the stock department.
• Able to demonstrate a high level of detail.
• Able to manage own time to achieve daily targets.
• Team player who can also work on own initiative.
• In‑depth knowledge of on‑site systems.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with management to ensure accuracy of received/despatched loads and amend as needed.
• Manage pallet problem area with Receipt and Despatch Team.
• Accurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity.
• Hold and Release process.
• Assist in the management of the pallet database.
• Fully investigate and report all short shipments.
• Complete daily and weekly reports.
• Assist Stock Management with investigations.
• Handle handovers, missing pallets, damage control and samples.

Life in this role

As part of our Chilled & Fresh division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Stock Controller on a full time permanent basis.

Salary: £13.96 per hour.

Shift: 4 on 4 off, 6am-6pm.

Key Duties of a Stock Controller:

• Liaise with Management and Operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads and amend and rework accordingly.
• Manage, in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team, the problem pallet area.
• Accurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity ensuring all checks are completed first.
• Hold and Release process.
• Assist in the management of the pallet database.
• Fully investigate and report accurately all short shipments.
• Completion of daily reports required on a daily and weekly basis.
• Assist Stock Management with investigations.
• Any additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control and samples.
