STILL Materials Handling in Exeter is seeking a Workshop Engineer to join our on-site workshop. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and service a range of STILL forklift trucks and warehouse equipment to keep customers moving.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically biased, with experience in electrical or hydraulic systems and good IT literacy for diagnostics and parts ordering. NVQ Level 3 in engineering is desirable, and you will work within a supportive, team-based

Exciting Career Opportunity as a Workshop Engineer at STILL Materials Handling in Exeter. Join STILL Materials Handling, a global leader in forklift trucks and warehouse equipment, and become part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, Reach Trucks and VNA trucks and automated trucks, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on STILL forklifts and other material handling equipment within our Workshop

We are seeking mechanically biased engineers, ideally with experience within the materials handling, automotive, plant, agricultural, or a related engineering industry.

• Experience working with electrical systems and/or hydraulics would be highly advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with customers and colleagues.
• An NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline is desirable, although not essential.
• Confident using IT equipment and digital systems, as technology is used extensively for record-keeping, diagnostics, and parts ordering.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a wider engineering team.
• Highly organised, proactive, and self-motivated, with a positive, can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Committed to delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service.
