Job summary

STILL Materials Handling Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the Worcester/Redditch area team. You will diagnose and fix faults on STILL forklifts and related equipment at customer sites, performing preventive maintenance and ensuring high quality service.

Working with a 39.5-hour week, there is a 5% annual bonus, commission opportunities, a company van with fuel card, and a pension scheme. Overtime and on-call pay are available, along with extensive product training.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, electrical or hydraulic engineering.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Find, diagnose and rectify faults on STILL forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
• Undertake preventative maintenance and support on-site at customer locations.
• Use IT tools to keep accurate records and place orders as needed.

We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Worcester/Redditch area. We are looking for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers who have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician or a similar type of role. Experience within plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners may make this role perfect for you! Working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA trucks and automated trucks, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on STILL forklifts and other material handling equipment at our customer sites.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Who are we looking for?

To be considered for this role, you will need experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Mechanical engineering
• Electrical engineering
• Hydraulics

Ideally you will have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, although this is not essential.

You will need to be IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders.

You must hold a full UK driving licence.
