Job summary

STILL Materials Handling is hiring a Field Service Engineer to service forklifts and other material handling equipment around the Cheltenham area. The role blends hands-on diagnostics with preventative maintenance to keep customers’ fleets operating at peak efficiency.

You will travel to customer sites, work autonomously within a team, and benefit from world-class product training, a company van and fuel card, laptop and phone, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, particularly forklift technicians or plant technicians.
• Comfortable using IT equipment for record-keeping and ordering.
• Hold a full UK driving license.
• Able to work autonomously and in a team.

Tasks and Qualifications:

We are interested in candidates with experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, particularly those who have worked as forklift technicians, plant fitters, plant technicians, or vehicle technicians.

Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners is highly desirable.

• Ideally you will have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, although this is not essential
• We use the latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders, therefore being comfortable using IT equipment is essential
• You will need to hold a full UK driving license
• As a STILL engineer you will need to be comfortable working autonomously and within a team
