Job summary

STILL Materials Handling Ltd is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join the team in Scotland (Central belt, covering Glasgow to Edinburgh). You will diagnose faults and carry out preventative maintenance on STILL forklifts and related equipment at customer sites, from small pallet trucks to automated trucks.

The role requires experience as an Engineer in the FLT/MHE world, IT literacy, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Engineer in the FLT/MHE world.
• NVQ level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
• A LOLER qualification or hydraulic experience ideal but not essential.
• Must be IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep records.

Responsibilities

• Find, diagnose, and rectify faults on STILL forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
• Undertake preventative maintenance and service on customer sites.
• Maintain accurate records and place orders using company systems.

We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Scotland (Central belt, covering Glasgow to Edinburgh)

We are looking for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers who have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician or a similar type of role. Experience within plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners may make this role perfect for you!

Working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA trucks and automated trucks, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on STILL forklifts and other material handling equipment at our customer sites

Tasks and Qualifications:

Who are we looking for?

To be considered for this role, you will need experience as an Engineer in the FLT/MHE world.

Ideally you will have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering, although this is not essential.

Also, a LOLER qualification or any hydraulic experience would be ideal, but again not essential.

You will need to be IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders.

You must hold a full UK driving licence.
