Job summary

STILL Materials Handling Ltd in the UK is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team, covering Scotland from Glasgow to Edinburgh. You will diagnose faults on STILL forklifts and related equipment, carry out preventative maintenance and support our customers on site.

We welcome vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers with FLT/MHE experience, ideally NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience as an engineer in the FLT/MHE world.
• NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and rectify faults on STILL forklifts and MHE at customer sites.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
• Record work orders and maintain accurate service logs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers.

We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Scotland (Central belt, covering Glasgow to Edinburgh)

We are looking for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers who have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician or a similar type of role. Experience within plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners may make this role perfect for you!

Working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA trucks and automated trucks, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on STILL forklifts and other material handling equipment at our customer sites

Tasks and Qualifications:

Who are we looking for?

• To be considered for this role, you will need experience as an Engineer in the FLT/MHE world.
• Ideally you will have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering, although this is not essential.
• Also, a LOLER qualification or any hydraulic experience would be ideal, but again not essential.
• You will need to be IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders.
• You must hold a full UK driving licence.
