Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Steward (Kitchen Porter) to join our team at Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill and other Hyatt properties in the UK. This role offers Flexi Hours with shifts that may vary weekly, supporting a luxury hospitality operation in central London.

You will maintain kitchen cleanliness, assist chefs, and follow hygiene and safety standards while benefiting from Hyatt staff perks and development opportunities. A great entry into a renowned hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• Dependable, detail-oriented and committed to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Strong team player, works well under pressure and willing to learn.
• Prior stewarding or hospitality experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper cleaning, drying, and storage of dishes, cutlery, and cookware.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and organising food supplies and kitchen equipment.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables properly while following hygiene and safety protocols.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic tasks, ensuring smooth workflow during busy operations.
• Adhere to hotel/restaurant safety, hygiene, and food handling standards at all times.
