Job Description

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and develop common solutions, working closely with technical experts proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical tasks, helping to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure 24/7.

As a Station Systems Technician Level 2, you'll work under the Duty Manager in the Remedial Team, acting as the deputy technical lead, involved in fault finding and rectifications on CCTV, Public Address systems, and serving as the first escalation point for Station Systems Technicians. This role is based at Pirin Court Depot and covers night shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm - 6 am.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as an escalation point for recurring faults, assisting with investigations and fixes.
  • Perform fault finding and rectifications on CCTV and Public Address systems.
  • Complete planned remedial activities on communication systems according to schedule.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture.
  • Work independently, handle pressure, meet deadlines, and uphold high standards.
Ideal Candidate:

Experience as a Station Systems Technician Level 3 and seeking to progress into a Level 2 role.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with CCTV, PA, CIS IP Networks, and ability to erect scaffolding.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with effective time management.
  • Availability to work Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm - 6 am, at Pirin Court Depot.
  • IRSE License for Safety Critical Systems.
  • Full UK Driving License.
