Trade Operative - Plumber

Location: Kingsmead Office, London, E9 – covering the London region

Salary: £37,386 - £39,354 per year

Hours: 40 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced Trade Operative - Plumber to join our London team. You will work on properties across the region, handling both new and existing stock, with skills in disciplines such as plastering, tiling, and painting. The role involves occasional lone working and opportunities to collaborate with the wider team. A company van and tools are provided, and the role covers sites across London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out joinery repairs, including door replacements, floor lifting and replacement, kitchen fitting, and door and window installation
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good condition and restocking as needed
• Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns by resolving issues or initiating solutions, keeping customers informed
• Providing accurate and timely updates on work progress in an understandable manner

Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing, ensuring compliance with Building Safety legislation
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation application
• Good communication and customer care skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload
• Valid UK driving licence for driving company vehicle

The role salary is £36,353 plus an annual policy allowance of £1,032, increasing to £38,267 with an allowance of £1,086 after 12 months, subject to performance.
