Job summary

WM Trains Limited in the West Midlands region seeks a Station Operations Lead to deliver a safe, efficient and customer-focused operation at Stourbridge Junction and the Train Crew Depot. You will work with Customer Experience, Train Crew and Control to optimise performance and resource deployment for customers.

You will also support the Senior Conductor Management Team to maximise efficiency and revenue opportunities and ensure continuity of service.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal, communication and decision-making skills, with a positive and customer-focused approach.
• Professional, reliable and approachable, with high standards of presentation, honesty and integrity.
• Well-organised and resilient, with good IT skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to analyse large volumes of data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Shift patterns will include weekends, early starts and late finishes.
• Ensure full compliance with safety responsibilities, policies, rules and regulations.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues and customers.
• Adhere to Health and Safety at Work Act and company procedures.
• Manage the issue and replacement of emergency and operational equipment for Senior Conductors.
