Network Rail is seeking a Station Shift Supervisor to lead a team on a London-based managed station, ensuring safe operations and top-tier customer service on a shift basis.

The role requires handling diverse situations with professionalism, enforcing safety procedures, and coordinating with police and other stakeholders. Applicants must meet security vetting requirements and are offered generous benefits and training opportunities.

Qualificações

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience dealing with confrontational situations.
• Previous experience supervising a team.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise the team on a shift basis to create a safe environment and deliver excellent customer service.
• Undertake and direct station staff work activities in line with safety procedures and ensure checks are recorded.
• Work with station users to create a safe, secure environment and report incidents.
• Respond to emergencies in line with procedures and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Provide customer service and raise standards by monitoring operations and giving feedback.
• Conduct shift briefings, allocate responsibilities, and arrange cover for short notice.
• Liaise with the British Transport Police to prevent crime at the station.
• Regularly check the station for hazards and log occurrences.
• Perform duties per emergency plans and ensure team adherence.
