Job summary

Network Rail High Speed Ltd. is seeking a Station Control Assistant at St Pancras International Station to monitor train and station information, communicate with TOCs, and support safe station operations.

You will operate essential systems (fire panels, CCTV, help points), log faults promptly, and maintain detailed operational logs while coordinating with Signalling Centres. A strong customer-service mindset and calm under pressure are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver regular updates on train and station services using station information systems.
• Share realtime updates with TOCs and station staff when disruption hits.
• Provide clear, timely safety announcements and support station users with essential information.
• Manage systems like fire panels, CCTV, help points, and car park equipment; log faults quickly and accurately.
• Liaise with Signalling Centres and TOCs to keep train service info flowing; maintain detailed logs of events.
• Support station colleagues to meet operational demands; assist in emergencies following established plans.
