Job summary

Quality Personnel is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to own the finance function in a stand-alone role, reporting directly to the Managing Director. This position requires strong technical accounting with commercial insight and robust financial reporting.

You will oversee month-end, budgeting, cash flow, controls, and liaise with external accountants. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified professionals with ERP and SAP experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a senior financial role, preferably as a Financial Controller.
• Strong technical accounting, reporting and analytical skills.
• Commercially aware with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly management accounts, financial reporting and month-end processes.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Maintain robust financial controls and ensure statutory and tax compliance.
• Manage accounts payable, receivable and working capital.
• Provide financial analysis and commercial insight to support business performance.
• Manage external accountants, auditors and other financial stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and efficiency.
