Responsibilities

Salary Options:

• £31,000-£34,000 + Paid travel and overtime.

Benefits: 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, and private healthcare for the employee. 25 days' annual holiday plus bank holidays. Ongoing technical training.

Commutable from: Bradford, Shipley, Thornton, Queensbury, Wilsden, Halifax, Leeds, Birstall, Morley, Keighley, Rothwell, Huddersfield and surrounding areas.

Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lift Installation Engineer to join an established lift and escalator company covering Bradford and the wider West Yorkshire.
The successful candidate will install and commission new lift equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with relevant regulations, industry standards and project specifications.

The Lift Installation Engineer Role

• Install new passenger and goods lift equipment.
• Complete mechanical and electrical installation work to a high standard.
• Read and work accurately from technical drawings, wiring diagrams and installation specifications.
• Carry out testing, adjustments and commissioning support before handover.
• Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical installation issues.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant lift regulations, safety standards and company procedures.
• Liaise with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and other engineers.
• Complete installation records, site documentation and progress reports accurately.
• Maintain excellent standards of workmanship, organisation and site safety.
• Travel to installation projects throughout the North West and occasionally beyond.

Ideal Lift Installation Engineer Candidate

• Strong experience installing passenger and goods lifts.
• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Installation or equivalent.
• Confident reading technical drawings, wiring diagrams and installation specifications.
• Good knowledge of lift regulations, health and safety requirements and industry standards.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Safety-conscious, reliable and committed to producing high-quality work.
• Willingness to travel when projects require.
• Full UK driving licence.
