Job summary

Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking a motivated Lift Installer to join an established independent lift engineering company, covering Bristol and surrounding areas. The role welcomes candidates with electrical or mechanical backgrounds and offers specialist training to service, maintain and fault-find across a varied lift portfolio.

You will learn to work on passenger and goods lifts, assist with servicing, inspections and repairs, and develop skills to operate independently as a Lift Engineer

Qualifications

• Experience or qualifications in electrical or mechanical field.
• Willingness to learn and train in the lift industry.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planned servicing and maintenance of passenger and goods lifts.
• Learn inspection, testing and maintenance of electrical and mechanical lift components.
• Support engineers with fault-finding, breakdowns and minor repairs.
• Develop understanding of different lift systems, equipment and manufacturers.
• Identify worn or defective components and report remedial work.
• Complete service documentation accurately using company systems.
• Follow health and safety procedures on customer sites.
• Build knowledge to work independently as a Lift Engineer.

Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking a motivated Lift Installer to join an established independent lift engineering company, working throughout Bristol and the surrounding area.

No prior lift industry experience is required. This opportunity is ideal for someone with an electrical or mechanical background who wants to transfer their skills to the lift industry and develop a long-term engineering career.

You will receive specialist training and practical support while learning to service, maintain and fault-find across a varied portfolio of lift equipment.

The Lift Installer Role

• A strong interest in developing a career within the lift industry.
• Good practical problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Willingness to learn, undertake training and develop new technical skills.
• Able to communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
