Job summary

Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lift Installation Engineer for Bradford and the wider West Yorkshire region. You will install and commission new lift equipment, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance, while collaborating with project teams.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Lift Installation, strong drawing interpretation skills and a full UK driving licence. Travel to projects in the North West is expected, with training and career development provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Installation or equivalent.
• Strong experience installing passenger and goods lifts.
• Confident reading technical drawings, wiring diagrams and installation specifications.
• Good knowledge of lift regulations, health and safety requirements and industry standards.
• Willingness to travel when projects require.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install new passenger and goods lift equipment.
• Complete mechanical and electrical installation work to a high standard.
• Read and work accurately from technical drawings, wiring diagrams and installation specifications.
• Carry out testing, adjustments and commissioning support before handover.
• Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical installation issues.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant lift regulations, safety standards and company procedures.
• Liaise with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and other engineers.
• Complete installation records, site documentation and progress reports accurately.
• Maintain excellent standards of workmanship, organisation and site safety.
• Travel to installation projects throughout the North West and occasionally beyond.

• £31,000-£34,000 + Paid travel and overtime.
