Job summary

tem is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to join Origination & New Products, a new three-person squad inside Sell Side Growth. You will tackle integration-heavy systems and work across Rosso, Data, and Billing to scale our renewable-gen pipeline and pricing engines.

You’ll own architecture-level decisions, ship new product categories, and help automate pricing while contributing across backend and frontend as needed in our Python/AWS serverless stack.

Qualifications

• Deep technical depth in backend and systems design with ownership of architecture-level decisions.
• Experience with Python, AWS serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge).
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into shippable plans without a full spec.
• Experience delivering complex projects in startups or fast-paced environments.
• Ability to work with dependencies across teams (Rosso, Data, Billing).

Responsibilities

• Own architecture-level decisions on integration-heavy systems.
• Translate undefined problems into actionable plans for your squad.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate Rosso, Data, and Billing.
• Build the hardest parts of the new-product build sequence, backend-first.
• Maintain high standards with clean, tested code and reviews.
