Job summary

tem is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for Origination & New Products. This fully remote role focuses on architecture for integration-heavy systems, including Rosso, Data, and Billing. You will drive the first new product category to live, improve tendering automation, and help productise complex pricing for high-value deals.

You’ll own backend-first work with opportunities to move into React/TypeScript when needed, in a fast-paced startup-like environment with global reach.

Qualifications

• Deep technical depth in backend and systems design, with a track record of owning architecture-level decisions on complex, integration-heavy systems.
• Comfortable in Python, AWS serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge) and event-driven architectures; React/TypeScript exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture-level decisions on integration-heavy systems connecting Origination & New Products to Rosso, Data, and Billing.
• Ship the first new product category live and generate qualified pipeline within 6 months.
• Solve the tendering automation problem to increase quote volume for growth.
• Productise pricing process to handle large, complex deals.
• Design deal-gating risk tooling for new commercial risk categories in the React/TypeScript and Python/AWS stack.
