Job summary

tem builds the pricing infrastructure behind commercial energy contracts, a Python and AWS-serverless system called Rosso that prices deals, balances portfolios, and sits on the critical path for every trade we close.

The Senior Staff Engineer will lead a small squad on origination and new products, writing Python at scale and shaping opportunities with no formal spec, delivering real business impact.

Qualifications

• Proven technical leadership at Staff or Senior Staff level with business impact.
• Production experience with Python at scale in a serverless AWS stack.
• Strong written and verbal communication with commercial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a three-person squad to build new product categories and Rosso integrations.
• Design, build and review the hardest parts of the system in Python.
• Shaped opportunities into buildable initiatives without a formal spec.
