tem is transforming energy markets with AI-native infrastructure. We are hiring a Staff Software Engineer to join Origination & New Products, a small squad within Sell Side Growth.

You’ll tackle architecture-level integrations with Rosso, Data, and Billing, and drive the first live product category with scalable tendering and pricing capabilities. You’ll own complex backend systems, work in Python/AWS serverless and React/TypeScript where needed, and contribute to a high-ambition, fully remote

Qualifications

• Deep technical depth in backend and systems design with a track record of owning architecture-level decisions on complex, integration-heavy systems.
• Comfortable in our core stack: Python, AWS serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge), and React/TypeScript exposure is a plus but not required.
• Ability to operate without a full spec and translate ambiguity into a shippable plan.
• Experience delivering work where a critical dependency sits with a team you do not control.
• Proven product delivery experience as a Full Stack or Backend Engineer in a startup or fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture-level decisions on integration-heavy systems and define boundaries, contracts, and failure modes.
• Turn undefined problems into shippable plans within your squad’s direction.
• Coordinate across teams for Rosso, Data, and Billing integrations without owning those relationships.
• Build the hardest parts of the new-product build sequence, backend-first, with frontend involvement when needed.
• Maintain high standards: write clean, well-tested code and contribute to reviews and practices.
