Job summary

Tem-Energy Limited is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to join Origination & New Products, a new three-person squad inside Sell Side Growth. The role focuses on architecture-level decisions for integration-heavy systems and hands-on delivery across the backend stack.

You will work in a Python/AWS serverless environment with exposure to React/TypeScript frontend work when required, collaborating with Rosso, Data, and Billing to scale the platform.

• Proven track record as senior/Staff engineer in a fast-paced product environment.
• Ownership of architecture decisions on integration-heavy systems.
• Strong problem-solving and systems design abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture-level decisions on integration-heavy systems across multiple teams.
• Build and ship backend with Python and AWS serverless stack.
• Collaborate with Rosso, Data, and Billing teams to ensure smooth integrations.
• Occasional frontend work in React/TypeScript when it matters.
• Maintain high code quality through reviews and testing.
