Staff Nurse - PCH Frailty Care of the Elderly, Ward 10

The closing date is 23 December 2025

The post is that of a Generic Staff Nurse at Prince Charles Hospital and the post holder will be expected to undertake duties within care of the Elderly and frailty ward. They will be expected to work with patients living with dementia and delirium. The post holder will carry out a range of assigned tasks involving direct and indirect care for the benefit of the patient/client in accordance with agreed protocols.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all policies and procedures are observed, and meet Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB requirements, as well as NMC Standards and Codes of Conduct.

Main duties of the job

You will be expected to commit to your ongoing professional development and you will benefit from preceptorship and the support of an experienced and enthusiastic multi‑professional team, committed to the delivery of excellent patient care. We are looking for dynamic, forward thinking and committed nurses to join our dedicated teams within our ward 10 Frailty. The successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high quality person centred care. We have fantastic opportunities for you to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in an environment which is conducive to learning. We provide all new staff with an induction period.
