Job description
Overview

As a Nurse within ED you will be part of a brilliant, friendly, hard‑working team who strive for excellence and support each other. The role is primarily about looking after the needs of adults and children and their families, using a holistic approach. You will identify health and well‑being needs using assessment skills, prioritise care, and deliver excellent treatment to patients and their families or carers. Your existing skills and the training opportunities on offer will equip you to provide support and health promotion to families that attend. Good communication with children, families and other members of the multi‑disciplinary team is essential.

All of this will take place in our brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art purpose‑built ED unit. Current staff have worked hard to fundraise for play and sensory equipment and artwork, making the unit child‑friendly and stress‑free.

MCHFT provides a full range of local hospital and community services for people across East Cheshire (population 399K), West Cheshire and Chester boroughs (population 357K).
