Applicants must hold a current NMC UK pin, which must be provided on the application form. Experience in Scrub, Theatre Practice, Anaesthetics, or Recovery is essential.
We are expanding our orthopaedic services within GGC and are seeking experienced perioperative staff, including nurses and operating department practitioners, to support this growth in theatres at GGH and IRH. The role involves assessment of care needs, developing and implementing care programs, and working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Flexibility to work across a seven-day service, including out-of-hours, is required.
Participants will benefit from the Perioperative dual and multi-specialty training programs supported by the GGC Centre of Clinical Perioperative Excellence, with ongoing education provided by the Perioperative Education Teams.
Engagement in multi-site working within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde South Sector may be required. Evidence of current NMC/HCPC registration and PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check are mandatory before starting.
