Job summary

Medidata is hiring for a Software Engineer to join the Study Experience team, focusing on CTMS SaaS on AWS. The role sits in a hybrid office model with on-site days in London and remote work flexibility.

You will work on Medidata's next-generation SaaS applications, reporting to an Engineering Manager and collaborating with a globally distributed team to deliver high-quality software. Strong emphasis on engineering practices and cloud security.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in application engineering and SaaS product development.
• Experience delivering in a microservices architecture and cloud-native apps.
• Proven ability to orchestrate teams and automate SDLC processes.

Responsibilities

• Propose solutions to complex business problems and translate them to technology.
• Provide accurate impact analysis, technical assessment and documentation.
• Define and advocate engineering best practices for the team.
• Lead product delivery with Engineering management and Architecture groups.
• Troubleshoot production issues and propose fixes.
• Mentor peers and perform code reviews to improve quality and promote TDD/BDD.
