Job summary

Medidata, a Dassault Systèmes brand, seeks a Frontend Staff Engineer (React) to shape our CTMS frontend. The role blends hybrid work from Hammersmith, London, with collaboration across a global team, focusing on scalable SaaS platforms deployed on AWS.

You will mentor engineers, design robust frontend architectures, and drive modern engineering practices such as TDD/BDD while delivering high-quality user experiences for enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with React and TypeScript in frontend role.
• Strong background in microservices and cloud-based web apps.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and DevOps tooling.
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience, or Master's with 3 years.
• Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake/Redshift/Spark).

Responsibilities

• Propose solutions to complex business problems and translate them to technology.
• Provide accurate impact analysis, technical assessment and documentation.
• Define and advocate industry standard engineering practices for the team.
• Work closely with Engineering management and Architecture groups in leading product delivery.
• Collaborate in troubleshooting production issues and provide workarounds.
• Mentor colleagues at Senior & App Engineer level; engage in code review to improve code quality and promote TDD/BDD.
• Collaborate with diverse and globally distributed team.
