Job summary

Our Future Health is hiring a full-stack focused mid-level Software Engineer to join our Research Enablement squad in London. You'd work with a Staff Software Engineer and a Security Engineer, taking ownership of frontend, backend and infrastructure across the stack in a collaborative, cross-functional setting.

The role emphasizes high-quality code, security-conscious development and solving rare, exciting problems at the intersection of TRE and bespoke tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience building cloud-hosted applications with Node.js and TypeScript in public or charitable settings.
• Knowledge of GraphQL, React and Python is a plus.
• Hands-on with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud providers.
• Familiarity with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong data modelling skills and PostgreSQL experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute across frontend, backend and infrastructure in a total ownership model.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and security teams to deliver secure, scalable features.
• Develop high-quality code and troubleshoot complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
