Lead Logistics Integration on Europe's Largest Construction Programme Project

Hinkley Point C (HPC) is the UK's first new nuclear power station in a generation and one of the most complex infrastructure projects in Europe. With over 22,000 people contributing to delivery and tens of thousands of UK jobs supported, HPC will provide reliable, low‑carbon electricity to around six million homes for decades to come.

Rullion is proud to be supporting the recruitment of a Senior Logistics Programme Integration Manager – a business‑critical leadership role at the heart of the project's logistics strategy and execution.

This position is ideal for senior logistics, supply chain, or programme integration professionals who have operated in highly regulated, safety‑critical environments such as nuclear, energy, power generation, chemical, petrochemical, aerospace or major capital construction.

The Role

As Senior Logistics Programme Integration Manager, you will play a pivotal role in integrating logistics demand across the entire Hinkley Point C programme. You will act as the single point of orchestration between multiple workstreams, ensuring material demand is consolidated into a coherent, reliable signal that enables safe, timely and efficient logistics delivery.

You will directly influence how materials flow from suppliers, through off‑site warehouses, and onto one of the most complex construction sites in Europe – helping to remove constraints, prevent disruption, and protect the project's critical path.

This is a high‑visibility leadership role, reporting directly to the Head of Logistics, with the opportunity to design and build a small but highly influential team.

Principal Accountabilities
Programme & Integration Leadership
  • Integrate logistics demand across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning workstreams.
  • Consolidate multiple data sources into a single, credible logistics demand signal (inbound and outbound).
  • Define and maintain the logistics demand baseline and rolling delivery plans.
  • Identify, manage and communicate risks, constraints and capacity issues across short, medium and long‑term horizons.
  • Ensure logistics integration is embedded within the wider integrated planning and governance framework.
Stakeholder & Interface Management
  • Collaborate closely with senior construction, logistics operations and programme teams.
  • Act as a key interface with third‑party logistics (3PL) partners.
  • Influence senior stakeholders, including Directors and C‑suite level leaders, using clear, data‑driven insight.
  • Build strong cross‑project relationships to align priorities and resolve competing demands.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Develop and manage logistics KPIs, reporting frameworks and assurance checks.
  • Drive continuous improvement in logistics planning, data integrity and execution performance.
  • Champion best practice, learning and innovation across the logistics function.
  • Ensure sensitive and nuclear‑related information is handled in line with governance and security requirements.
Leadership & Culture
  • Design and lead a high‑performing logistics integration team.
  • Act as a role model for safety leadership, collaboration and accountability.
  • Champion a strong nuclear safety culture across logistics planning and delivery.
What You'll Bring to the Project

You will be an experienced logistics or supply chain leader with a proven track record of integrating complex demand across large, regulated programmes.

Essential Experience & Skills
  • Degree‑level education or equivalent professional experience.
  • Senior‑level experience leading logistics, supply chain or planning teams within complex, regulated environments.
  • Strong background in logistics planning, warehouse operations and supply chain integration.
  • Experience working on major capital projects (construction, energy, nuclear, chemical, petrochemical, aerospace or manufacturing).
  • Highly skilled in data analysis, logistics planning frameworks and performance reporting.
  • Confident influencing senior leaders and presenting complex information clearly.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving skills.
  • Comfortable operating in dynamic, high‑pressure environments with competing priorities.
Desirable
  • Experience within the nuclear sector.
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations.
  • Project management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent).
  • IOSH or equivalent safety qualification.
  • Experience working with WMS, logistics planning tools and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools.
