Job summary

Amida Consulting Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Project Manager for fire safety systems projects, based in Manchester.

You will oversee site surveys, procurement, client liaison, and cost control across sprinkler installations, with a focus on BS EN12845 standards and LPC/BS9990 compliance. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of PM experience in commercial sprinkler projects, CSCS card, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience as Project Manager of commercial sprinkler installations.
• CSCS card required.
• Strong procurement and cost control skills.
• Background in commercial sprinkler contracts, wet riser systems and dry riser systems.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office and similar project management software.
• Understanding of sprinkler related standards BS EN12845, LPC Rules & BS9990.

Responsibilities

• Site surveys.
• Procurement of labour, equipment and fabrication.
• Liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and site managers/supervisors.
• Be responsible for cost control of contracts/projects in partnership with Operations Manager and Director.
• Keep records of installation progress and monitor against program of rewards.
• Maintain up-to-date site records, including diary of all site operatives.
• Maintain compliance on site with issued and approved method statements and risk assessments.
• Assist with testing and commissioning.

As part of the main contracts team, you will Project Manage a selection on fire protection systems projects based in London

Responsibilities

• Site surveys
