Job summary

Hall&Kay Fire Engineering is seeking a capable Fire Project Manager to deliver sprinkler projects on time and within budget, aligning with customer requirements and regulatory standards.

You will lead initiation meetings, maintain the programme, manage on-site resources, and produce documentation such as RAMs, O&M, and as-fitted drawings, while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • BS EN 12845 and LPS1048 knowledge essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • LPCB Module 2 competency required.
  • LPCB Site Inspection Module 1 competency required.
  • Familiarity with Prince 2 project management principles.
  • Experience managing large, complex budgets on site.
  • SMSTS and CSCS cards valid.
  • Knowledge of CDM management principles.
  • Extensive documentation experience: RAMs, Quality Plans, CTCS, trackers.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications and project trackers.
  • Commercial acumen for cost savings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project initiation and handover meetings with stakeholders.
  • Produce and maintain the project programme.
  • Communicate with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Attend internal cost-to-complete (CTC) meetings.
  • Complete end-of-project docs: RAMs, O&M, as-fitted drawings, certification.
  • Manage on-site resources and resolve issues to keep programme.
  • Record on-site inspections per schedule and conduct toolbox talks.
  • Complete all H&S documentation (RAMs, attendance sheets, etc.).

Job description

Summary of Role

You will deliver Fire Sprinkler projects on time, to budget and in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.

What you will be doing
  • Leading project Initiation/handover meetings with all stakeholders including Sales, Design, QS.
  • Production and maintenance of project programme.
  • Communication with clients throughout the life of a project.
  • Attendance at internal project Cost To Complete (CTC) meetings.
  • Completion and submission to relevant stakeholders of all end-of-project documentation e.g. O&M, As-Fitted Drawings, Certification.
  • Supporting and managing of on-site resources ensuring all issues are resolved and the programme maintained.
  • Undertaking & recording on-site inspections in accordance with EHS001 scheduled frequency.
  • Facilitating on-site toolbox talks.
  • Completion of all H&S related documentation Inc. RAMs, attendance sheets etc.
What we will need from you (all essential)
  • Working knowledge of BS EN 12845 & LPS1048 Schemes.
  • Working knowledge of engineering drawings.
  • LPCB Testing & Commissioning Module 2 Competent.
  • LPCB Site Inspection Module 1 Competent.
  • Familiarity with the principles of Prince 2 project management methodologies.
  • Experience in managing complex, large budget projects in the construction industry.
  • Practiced at management of on-site labour & resources.
  • Valid SMSTS & CSCS Card Holder.
  • Knowledge of CDM Management Principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of production of project documentation eg. RAMs, Quality Plans, Project Plans, Cost Sheets (CTC), Trackers.
  • Familiarity with all standard MS office applications
  • Commercial acumen - Identifies and maximises project cost savings.
