Our flagship event, Connect Manchester, brings together thought leaders, innovators, and businesses to foster collaboration and growth. We’re expanding our team and looking for a Sponsorship & Outreach Manager to not only secure sponsorships for events but also contribute to client acquisition efforts and outreach initiatives for EMS.

Job Description:

As a Sponsorship & Outreach Manager at EMS, you will play a key role in securing sponsorships for Connect Manchester and other EMS events. In addition, you will work closely with our outreach and management teams to acquire new clients, ensuring the continued growth and success of EMS. This is a remote, flexible position where you’ll be responsible for both business development and building lasting partnerships. Experience is not required, and we’re looking for someone who is eager to learn and contribute.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sponsorship Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to secure sponsorships for events like Connect Manchester and other EMS initiatives. Create tailored sponsorship proposals and negotiate deals.
  2. Client Acquisition & Outreach: Identify potential clients for EMS services, pitch our offerings, and convert leads into long-term clients. Collaborate with the management team to drive growth for EMS.
  3. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing sponsors and clients, ensuring satisfaction and continuous support.
  4. Collaboration with Teams: Work alongside the outreach and management teams to help meet the goals for client acquisition, event sponsorships, and overall company growth.
  5. Strategy & Reporting: Track the progress of sponsorship and client acquisition efforts, report results to senior management, and adjust strategies as needed.
  6. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and identify new opportunities for both sponsorships and potential clients.
Qualifications:
  1. No prior experience is required. We’re looking for a motivated individual eager to learn and grow with the company.
  2. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to pitch and close deals.
  3. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams to meet targets and deadlines.
  4. Knowledge of the Manchester business ecosystem and relevant industries is a plus.
  5. A passion for event marketing and client relations.
