Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech seeks a VELYS Spine Clinical Specialist in the UK to lead clinical introduction, adoption and optimisation of VELYS Spine robotics and navigation across spinal units. You will partner with surgeons, theatre teams and hospital leadership to ensure safe, effective use and scalable growth.

• Experience in spine/orthopaedics and enabling technology is essential.
• Strong understanding of surgical environments and workflows.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based, high travel role.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site clinical launch and implementation of VELYS Spine systems into new centers.
• Provide hands-on theatre case support ensuring safe use during procedures.
• Deliver structured education programmes for surgeons and theatre teams.
• Build clinical capability and centres of excellence across user groups.
• Drive early adoption and sustained utilisation of VELYS Spine technology.
• Support case planning, procedural optimisation, and pathway standardisation.
• Monitor and report clinical usage, performance, and outcomes.
