Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a VELYS Spine Clinical Specialist in the United Kingdom. You will lead clinical introduction, adoption and optimization of VELYS Spine robotics across spinal units, partnering with surgeons and hospital teams to ensure safe, effective use and scalable growth.

The role involves on-site launches, case support and training, with cross-functional collaboration to drive case volume, workflow standardisation and clinical excellence within the UK spine portfolio.

Qualifications

• Clinical professionals with experience in spine/orthopaedics and enabling technology.
• Strong communication, presentation and training capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based, high-travel role.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site clinical launch and implementation of VELYS Spine systems into new centers.
• Provide in-theatre case support and guide surgical teams on workflow integration.
• Deliver structured education programmes for surgeons and theatre teams; hands-on training.
• Build clinical capability and confidence across user groups; develop centres of excellence.
• Monitor usage, outcomes and contribute to clinical standards and improvements.
