Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Nottinghamshire is seeking a Speech & Language Therapy Assistant (Band 4) to join the Complex Needs SLT team on a 30‑hour week basis. The post supports SLTs to deliver a range of interventions across community venues, clinics, nurseries and schools for children with complex needs.

You will be responsible for delivering services under supervision, managing your diary, and contributing to CPD opportunities within the Children’s Speech & Language

Qualifications

• Qualification at equivalent level of NVQ Level 3
• General education to GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
• Experience with children with additional needs and in NHS settings

Responsibilities

• Assist SLTs in delivering interventions across community venues, homes, nurseries and schools
• Support children with complex needs and those using AAC
• Manage your own clinical diary and organise workload
• Provide supervision/mentoring to junior staff and students as appropriate
