Job summary

Pulse Healthcare in Mitcham, Surrey, seeks a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist for a part-time locum role (22.5 hours per week) with immediate start. You will deliver specialist interventions to children with complex communication needs and work within a multidisciplinary team to support care planning and outcomes.

Qualified SLTs registered with HCPC, skilled in supervision and staff training, and able to travel as required are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist.
• Experience delivering therapy to children with complex needs.
• Experience supporting teams around a child or young person.
• Confident, engaging, and effective in modelling, guiding, leading, and training.
• Highly organised and proactive.
• Committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
• Experience in team supervision and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Must be a driver due to travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist interventions to children and young people with complex communication needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support living and learning environments.
• Support and guide staff, contribute to care planning, and provide training and supervision.
