Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is advertising a highly specialist Speech and Language Therapy position within the School Aged Complex Needs Team. The role focuses on children with complex communication needs, including AAC and dysphagia, across mainstream schools and community settings.

Qualifications

• Recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree and HCPC registration.
• Completion of specialist short courses in relevant fields.
• Postgraduate training in Dysphagia.
• Experience with complex paediatric caseloads and AAC.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist SLT input to school-aged children in mainstream settings.
• Independently manage school-based caseloads and assessments.
• Deliver interventions on site in education and community settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support EHCPs.
