Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in Bristol is seeking a caring Speech & Language SEND Support Assistant to join a specialist classroom in Shirehampton this September. You will support pupils with ASC and Global Developmental Delay to develop communication, confidence, and independence in a nurturing setting.

Working with teachers, therapists, and families, you will deliver targeted interventions, foster positive social interactions, and help learners access learning.

Qualifications

• Holds Speech & Language qualifications or relevant experience.
• Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly ASC.

Responsibilities

• Supporting speech, language, and communication development
• Working closely with pupils with ASC and Global Developmental Delay
• Delivering targeted communication and learning interventions
• Encouraging positive social interactions and engagement
• Creating a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment
