Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking an SEN Learning Support Assistant for a September start in Bristol. You will support pupils with SEND in a welcoming school, helping them feel safe, confident and ready to learn every day.

The role involves one-to-one and small group support, close collaboration with teachers and the SENCO, and fostering pupils' confidence, independence and resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a school or similar setting.
• Patience, calm and adaptable approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff and carers.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND.
• Support children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and speech/language needs.
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver personalised learning.
• Help pupils build confidence, independence and resilience.
