Job summary

Scolmore Group in London is seeking a driven Group Specification Manager to grow our presence across the capital. You will work with consultants, contractors and the sales team to develop customer relationships and drive specifications.

This is a field-based role with 9:00am–5:00pm hours, requiring regular UK travel and occasional overnight stays. The successful candidate will have a proven sales track record, excellent communication and a practical, solutions-focused approach to winning

Qualifications

• Experience in specification sales and demand generation within the RSL sector.
• Proven sales track record with results.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Driving licence and willingness to travel within the UK.

Responsibilities

• Generate demand across the registered social landlord (RSL), local authority, council and housing association sectors.
• Engage with M&E consultants, specifiers and contractors across these markets. Identify residential and commercial opportunities, collaborate with the wider team for a seamless customer experience.
• Work with Area Sales Managers (ASMs) to ensure specification activity supports wholesale stockists and aligns with commercial principles.
• Deliver CPD modules to customers.
• Build strong relationships across target markets to promote the Scolmore Group portfolio and generate demand.
• Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations communicating features, benefits and services.
• Maintain accurate customer records and keep product knowledge up to date.
• Stay informed about market trends and competitor products.
• Complete administration; update Outlook, CRM and project pipeline daily.
• Regular/daily travelling within the UK with occasional overnight stays.
