Job summary

SRS Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Specification Sales Manager for the East Midlands region. The role focuses on influencing design teams and M&E consultants with engineered HVAC and fluid flow solutions across commercial projects.

Based in Leicester or Nottingham, you will cover Derby, Lincoln, Northamptonshire and surrounding counties, driving early-stage specification activity and building strategic partnerships. A strong technical and commercial mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Accomplished technical specification sales professional with track record in influencing projects.
• Experience in HVAC/mechanical building services considered essential.
• Strong ability to develop technical and commercial value early in design stages.

Responsibilities

• Develop influential relationships with consulting engineers, M&E consultants, building owners and developers.
• Promote full portfolio of pumps, HVAC and energy‑efficient engineered solutions.
• Identify projects early and add technical/commercial value.
• Understand customer design and energy requirements before recommending solutions.
• Influence design criteria to secure Basis of Design through credible guidance.
• Deliver CPDs, technical meetings and product demonstrations.
• Maintain CRM records, pipeline visibility and forecast opportunities.
