Job summary

SRS Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Specification Sales Manager based in the West Midlands, ideally Birmingham, to influence HVAC and mechanical building services projects from early design stages.

The role focuses on building relationships with consulting engineers, M&E consultants, building owners and developers, promoting engineered solutions and securing the Basis of Design while guiding projects through tender and delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of influencing consulting engineers and M&E consultants.
• Deep knowledge of HVAC, hydronics, pumps and energy efficient systems.
• Strong understanding of specification-led project sales.
• Ability to read construction drawings and schematics.
• Experience in early design stages (RIBA Stages 1-4).

Responsibilities

• Develop influential relationships with engineers, owners and developers.
• Promote full portfolio of pumps, HVAC and digital solutions.
• Identify early projects and add technical/commercial value.
• Deliver CPDs, technical meetings and product demonstrations.
• Track projects through tender and delivery with CRM visibility.
• Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams to ensure viable solutions.
