The Blossom Tree Provision at Flying High Partnership is seeking a Class Teacher. You will work in a specialist SEND setting with a small class (4–10 children), delivering a bespoke curriculum and nurturing development in communication, social-emotional skills and independence.

Holders of QTS, experience with SEND, and a commitment to inclusive practice are essential. The role offers 0.6 FTE, 12-month fixed-term contract, starting January 2027 (or earlier by agreement).

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience of teaching children with SEND.
• Ability to create emotionally safe learning environments.
• Delivers highly personalised teaching based on pupil needs.
• Strong understanding of communication needs, including speech, language and communication difficulties.
• Uses visual supports, structured approaches and adaptive teaching strategies.
• Collaborates with teaching assistants, families and external agencies.
• Believes in inclusion and the potential of every child to succeed.
• Resilient, reflective and committed to professional development.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver a bespoke curriculum aligned to EHCP outcomes.
• Share classroom teaching with Deputy Inclusion Lead for a small class (4–10 pupils).
• Create a safe, structured, nurturing environment where children can flourish.
• Collaborate with support staff, families and external professionals to support progress.
• Adapt teaching and communication approaches to remove barriers to success.
