Job summary
We are looking for an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist to join our forward-thinking MSK rehabilitation team at Heavitree Hospital, Physiotherapy Department. You will need solid assessment/treatment skills and be able to work with a holistic mindset to manage a complex caseload of patients. You will be supporting juniors, non-qualified staff, and students with cases, providing training and supervision. You will work closely with the clinical lead, other senior clinical colleagues, and the wider MDT to ensure high-quality management of musculoskeletal patients.

We are a busy department with a high urgent caseload and a good reputation. We have strong links with the orthopaedic teams, with joint-specific ESP/ACPs present in the department. We also work closely with other MSK colleagues and services including pain management, rheumatology, cancer services, and ED. We pride ourselves on balancing specialised rehabilitation with empowering self-management of long-term conditions.
We are a friendly, flexible, and supportive team that faces challenges together and supports each other. We have a robust in-service training programme, and through appraisal, you will be encouraged to develop your skills via internal or external training and development opportunities.
