We are looking for an Advanced Physiotherapist Practitioner to join our growing team, providing musculoskeletal expertise within our virtual service.

Position:

As an Advanced Physiotherapist Practitioner at IPRS Health, you will deliver advanced practice physiotherapy clinics for assessment and management of MSK patients referred to the Virtual Lucy service. Your role involves selecting evidence-based tests and treatments, considering patient preferences, beliefs, and values. You will support the Clinical Leads in delivering effective clinical and operational services for the Virtual Lucy program, provide clinical support and training to the physiotherapy team, and contribute to service evaluation and development.

Your success will ensure patients receive the best evidence-based care and that the service continues to grow and improve.

Responsibilities:

• Manage your own clinical caseload, providing advanced physiotherapy assessments and treatments within your scope of practice.
• Conduct audio and video triage, order investigations, and develop evidence-based management and rehabilitation plans.
• Discuss imaging results with patients and collaboratively develop management strategies in patient-friendly language.
• Produce timely, accurate, and high-quality reports adhering to IPRS standards.
• Work towards specific KPIs related to your role.
• Ensure compliance with legal and statutory regulations, including data protection.
• Maintain your Continuing Professional Development, especially in advanced physiotherapy practice and IPRS competencies.
• Assist in training, auditing, and supporting the MSK team.
• Contribute to clinical audits and service improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
• Support clinical documentation improvements and team development.
• Perform any other duties compatible with the role as required.

Requirements:

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds committed to helping people recover. To be considered, you should have:

• HCPC Registered Physiotherapist
• Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
• Minimum 3 years of MSK Physiotherapy experience
• At least 1 year of APP or FCP experience, including face-to-face practice
• Evidence of ongoing professional development
• IRMER training

Clinicians can demonstrate meeting AP standards via:

• MACP membership or criteria met
• Validated MSc from an accredited university
• Reciprocal MACP recognition with IFOMPT recognition and HCPC registration
• Experience requesting diagnostic investigations across MSK conditions
• Experience ordering imaging or CPD around imaging modalities
• IRMER and E-lms training certificates
• Evidence of M-level study or MSc
• Experience in occupational health, healthcare insurance, or rehabilitation markets
• Experience in public/private healthcare, evidence-based treatment pathways, and clinical leadership

Other Information:
