We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced First Team Assistant Physiotherapist to join our Medical Department on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to our First Team Lead Physiotherapist, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering physiotherapy services within a professional sporting environment and possess a relentless drive to achieve high standards.

Role & Responsibilities
As First Team Assistant Physiotherapist, you will work with the First Team Lead Physiotherapist to provide medical services to professional players, from injury assessment and diagnosis to assisting in rehabilitation. You will collaborate with medical and sport science staff to support players in maintaining high performance both on and off the pitch.
Prevention:
Implement holistic injury prevention strategies through daily individual and team sessions, including soft tissue treatments like massage, foam rolling, PNF stretching, and mobility drills. Support the development of screening processes.
Diagnosis:
Assist with injury diagnosis, support external consultations and scans, and execute on-match assessment and treatment protocols.
Rehabilitation:
Support rehabilitation for common football injuries, ensuring programs are effectively designed, implemented, and recorded. Collaborate with sport science and coaching staff on rehab activities.
Collaboration:
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, coaches, and technical staff, to ensure integrated player care.
Matchday Responsibilities:
Provide pitch-side and in-game physiotherapy support during training and matches, which may involve travel and overnight stays.
Education and Mentorship:
Educate players and staff on injury prevention, treatment protocols, and best practices.
Research and Innovation:
Stay updated with the latest research and contribute to innovative practices within the department.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
