A local healthcare provider in the United Kingdom seeks a Specialist Doctor (SAS) in Gastroenterology. This role involves undertaking outpatient clinics at Kingston Hospital, covering upper GI work, and participating in the education and training of staff. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of practice, including 3 years in Gastroenterology, with a commitment to ongoing professional development. Flexible working arrangements are encouraged.

To undertake Gastroenterology outpatient clinics at Kingston Hospital.
To cover upper GI MDT work where necessary.
To work with the Clinical Lead and service-line managers to ensure the provision of high quality, effective care which meets operational standards.
To actively participate in education and training, medical/clinical audit, clinical risk management, clinical governance, and management activities of the service-line.
To actively participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
The postholder will be responsible for managing their own workload daily and prioritising those tasks requiring immediate attention.
There will be appropriate mentoring of the new SAS Grade provided within the Trust.
