Job summary

Parkside School is seeking a Specialist Curriculum Leader to shape and lead our Specialist Curriculum provisions and spaces. You will design personalised pathways and coordinate cross-team collaboration to improve attendance, wellbeing and outcomes for students requiring additional support.

As part of the Extended Leadership Team you will line manage staff, oversee off-site provisions and act as Designated Safeguarding Lead, mentoring a cohort of students while building strong external

• Proven ability to lead complex curriculum provision and spaces.
• Strong data-analysis skills to track student progress and outcomes.
• Experience in safeguarding, pastoral systems and team development.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Shape, deliver and coordinate the Specialist Curriculum provisions and spaces.
• Personalised Pathways: Plan, deliver and track personalised curriculum pathways for identified students.
• Re-Integration & Transitions: Lead reintegration of students back into mainstream lessons or from external provisions.
• Team Management: Line manage and develop teaching and support staff within the department.
• Collaboration & External Partnerships: Liaise with SLT, SENCO, pastoral staff, families and external agencies.
• Safeguarding & Coaching: Serve as Designated Safeguarding Lead and coach a small group of students.
