Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment seeks a Specialist SEN Teacher for an Autism and SLD provision in Preston. This full-time role focuses on delivering differentiated learning in a nurturing, structured environment.

You will work with pupils with ASC and SLD, employing play-based and experiential approaches to support communication, independence and emotional regulation, and preparation for adulthood.

Qualifications

Tradewind are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated full-time Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join a close-knit, collaborative team at a specialist autism school. This provision supports pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). The learning environment is nurturing, highly structured, and personalised, with a strong focus on communication, independence, emotional regulation, and preparation for adulthood. Many of our pupils access learning through developmentally appropriate, play-based, and experiential approaches, making an Early Years or Primary education background ideal.
