Job summary

Specialist School North Derbyshire is seeking a Teaching & Curriculum Lead who combines outstanding classroom practice with leadership in curriculum development. You will work with the leadership team to shape an ambitious, differentiated curriculum and support colleagues across the school.

You will mentor trainee and developing teachers, monitor pupil progress, and contribute to school improvement and inspection readiness.

Qualifications

• Experienced teacher with QTS and a relevant teaching qualification.
• Strong secondary teaching background with leadership potential.
• Ability to develop and monitor curriculum, assessment and teaching quality.
• Experience mentoring trainee and developing teachers.
• Ability to tailor approaches for SEMH needs and differentiated learning.

• Deliver high-quality teaching and model excellent classroom practice.
• Help develop an engaging, ambitious and differentiated curriculum.
• Support colleagues with planning, teaching and assessment.
• Mentor trainee and developing teachers.
