Job summary

Camberwell Park Specialist School in Manchester is seeking two SEN Teachers to join our dedicated team in a permanent, full-time role commencing January 2027. You will deliver high-quality, personalised learning experiences for pupils with additional needs, in a supportive, inclusive environment.

As part of a collaborative staff, you will plan engaging lessons, assess progress, contribute to curriculum development, and engage with families and external agencies to support pupil outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Hold QTS and be qualified to teach in the UK.
  • Have successful teaching experience with children and young people with additional needs.
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all learners.
  • Understand personalised learning and adaptive teaching.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging lessons that meet diverse learning needs.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Assess, monitor and report pupil progress with appropriate interventions.
  • Support pupils' social, emotional and personal development alongside academic achievement.
  • Promote positive behaviour for learning in line with school policies.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, teaching resources and assessment practices.
  • Work collaboratively to improve teaching and learning.
  • Build positive relationships with parents, carers and external agencies.
